A great place to stop. We had not pre-booked, were passing and stopped in and booked a room for the night. Had a really nice evening meal and a great breakfast in the morning. The room was very clean and tidy and loved the deluge shower. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Staying local & booked for Sunday evening meal. Great tasting food, good service, and welcoming atmosphere. Good choice of food on the menu & ours was well cooked and well presented.
Cycling the Hebridean way and called in for a coffee out of the high winds. Warm welcome and cared for hotel. Great toilets always a very good indicator
Had no trouble getting a table for two (Wednesday evening in June) so you may not need to book ahead. There is a bar and a restaurant but I think the menu is the same for each room. The food was delicious and well-presented. Portions were not huge but quite enough for us. Perhaps a little expensive.
I stayed here for a week in mid-October and it was lovely! Opposite the cold weather, the staff were warm and friendly and the food was delightful. It's quite the cute little place - lots of charm and an evident amount of love put in by the people who run it. My room was nice, clean, and cozy. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay somewhere unique and welcoming.
Came from the Florida keys myself and a friend, we popped in for dinner, the black pudding starter with the whiskey sauce is a must try!!Jess who had just started a week prior was absolutely amazing, first time bartending but had great knowledge about everything, pulled a great pint of Guinness, made great recommendations and was very personable, gave us a few things around the island to do as we missed our ferry and had to stay on the island another day, the 5 stars are for her!! As for the other two girls that were on the bar, they were very rude and had mean girl vibes, not only were they rude to us the moment we walked in but thought it was appropriate to trash talk about the new bartender which was very unprofessional, they need to take a leaf out of jess's book!!
Only went in for a drink. Very nice surroundings and pleasant staff. Food looked good too.
We were a party of 15 with 7 kids so the accommodation was perfect. We were given our own function room to celebrate a birthday which worked well. The place could do with a bit of a face lift but our bathroom had been done up and was modern. The bar area was adequate and the breakfast was good. Very friendly, helpful staff.
